A booklet bearing the full title: "The Monotype[:] How It Works[,] Evolution to Meet New Needs[,] Non-distribution of Type and Material[,] The Inventor" published at "The School" in 1957. Based on internal evidence, "the School" must be either The New York School of Printing, The School for Printers' Apprentices, or the school of the Lanston Monotype Machine Company. It describes the Monotype casters and the then-new Monotype Monophoto system.
